Humans DO discriminate, it's one of our most enduring virtues. TRYING to get institutions like religious organisations, charities and the like to NOT discriminate is very hard.
I agree, it SHOULDN'T happen, but the reality is that it does and is just as rife today as it ever was. We really haven't come very far. Try being 55+ and seeking employment, discrimination is the proverbial brick wall you hit time and time again. :S
Yeah I just got another job rejection....I think that is now 250. I give up and will stay retired.
