You have to learn it. You don't have to believe it. You can be a good practitioner without believing it. I know two good doctors personally who are creationists. As long as they don't let it interfere with how they do medicine, doctors can believe all kinds of weird things and still do a good job by their patients.
True that. I read somewhere about how we compartmentalize our brains. Which would explain holding 2 contradicting beliefs and turning them on and off at the appropriate time.
But to say that humans will evolve into energy and god like beings. The only time i saw that happen was on star trek.
