Could you keep your argument in one place for a second?
You were arguing in favour of teaching your kids religion over science, saying science is flawed and religion delivers.
When I answered that question you claimed to be all in favour of science and asked where I got the impression that you weren't from.
I answered that question and now you bring up history - which is not religion.
Are we expecting the Bible to repeat itself? Lets hope not - we have moved on morally massively since those times.
I never argued in favor of teaching religion over science. I don't see how one is superior to the other. They are both institutions that man built. You answered my question by poking fun at my 3000 year old book, that is apparently flawed because it is 3000 years old.
History repeats itself, therefore studying it can help us predict the future.

You're putting words in my mouth. I never said that. Straw manning makes your arguments so much easier, eh? This is why I said this should be the Hall of Logical Fallacy.

If you already understood it, then why did you ask the question?
I have been wading through strawmen since I started this thread. If I throw some up I am only being trendy.
I was asking what the end goal of Atheism is. Is that really hard to understand? There were several different responses.
