The former for when people actually have a thick enough skin to handle the fact we tend to be disparaging towards religion and can actually hold their own and show a regard for rational inquiry. The fact you just suggested you don't think evolution is fact even though it is a scientifically-proven theory alone answers WHY we are so hostile towards you. If you'd get that, and understand why, we'd have no reason to insult you. But you don't. So we do.

You don't get that there is a God. Therefore, I should insult you till you agree. Logical, right?

There is no evidence of god, yet there is evidence of evolution. tons of it, in fact. So, no, not logical.
