Perhaps if you brilliant scholars could have explained to me that anti-theists are the only Atheists that hold this goal, and that Atheists as a whole are not actively pursuing it I would have understood that.

Being as critical of your own posts as you are of the posts of others is the road to discussion forum success. There's wheat and chaff in any discussion thread, no matter where you go. Focusing on the chaff and lumping the wheat posters in with them isn't very productive unless you're trolling.
