I knew a lot of flat out fucking idiots back in NY, too.
But they weren't the majority....which is the problem with the south.
The thing with the south today is that the people who lived there in the 50's should have been swamped by waves of retiring northerners. Florida, N. Carolina, even Northern Georgia around Atlanta have grown extensively from migration. Yet, they continue to be as racist and sexist as ever.
I can only conclude that there is an 'idiot magnet' buried in the Gulf of Mexico that keeps attracting northern idiots to the south.
