Where and when does Jesus say that?

The Bible repeatedly and clearly states that God cannot be known except if He reveals himself.

Matt 11:27 … no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

John 1:18 - No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known.

I Cor. 1:21 - the world through its wisdom did not come to know God.

It follows logically then that the acts of God cannot be known except God reveals them. How God Did or Does anything cannot be known without revelation from God himself.

Ecc. 11:5 - Just as you do not know the path of the wind or how bones are formed in the womb of a pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things.

Ecc. 3:11 - no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.

Considering that god is merely a delusion of the faithful, it is a moot point that the bible mentions god can only be known if he decides to reveal himself to someone. It is a rather convenient excuse, if one thinks on it long enough, for plenty of ex-theists were devout in their belief yet never experienced god's presence. Those who claim to know god are merely delusional, and their experiences can easily be explained by science as the mind tricking the individual.
