Back in the day, my sweet Sam and I made it a point of our relationship that we were never going to play the petty, childish game of "I've got a problem and I'm not telling, so you have to guess what it is" that a relationship with a figment of someone else's imagination would entail. We at least paid each other the basic common courtesy of actually existing.
