it is the unwillingness for people to accept that there are things they do not know that keeps us from colonizing mars by now which there is ice on as im sure you've heard.
you seem like a smart person pocaracus, you could be spending your time advancing science and helping us get to mars where maybe there would be no religion..
but you are stuck defending people's ignorance and irrationalities...
to admit you don't know whether or not gods exist is not the only stance, it is the present truth, and someday we may have proof and that will change, the idea will evolve but we need to be honest with where we are right now and such big ideas are over our head at the moment...
