When you see Jesus as a fictional character in the gospel narratives, then the resurrection becomes irrelevant. There is no proof of the existence of Jesus Christ and if he did exist the tales told of him have been embellished and greatly exaggerated by those interested in perpetuating the myth.
Archaeology fails to find proof of the existence of Jesus and things related to said event.
Secular history fails to have recorded the existence of this Jesus and to corroborate some of the stories found in the gospels regarding his exploits.
Any and all words in the bible claiming to be direct quotes of Jesus have come down to us by the authors of the gospels since Jesus never wrote nor had anyone record anything he said. So the entire gospels are based on hearsay.
If this were any other subject the tale of Christ would be dismissed outright as non-factual, but since it is a religion that is popular by majority, then people go out of their way to hang on to whatever shred of it is left.

There is nothing people will not maintain when they are slaves to superstition
