Yes I take it literally, actually the apple is fine, I take issue with with snake, they have no legs to walk on.

You become wise by obtaining knowledge. Not just knowledge on good and evil, but all types of knowledge.
Your interpretation is fail.
She saw the tree as to make her wise, Satan's deception, the tree is not described as making one wise, it is defined as the tree of knowledge of good and evil, my interpretation still stands.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
