I'm also quite against the whole being politically correct instead of actually being correct thing. Isn't the sign just to say that you can squabble over all the things we're different about, but at the end of the day to remember that we share commonalities despite our differences?
We all have family, people we care about, worry about work and shit like that. It's not the disagreeing that's the problem, it's how some people use differences to differentiate into groups, and it allows them to dehumanize people on the other side, and do horrible things to them.
