In other words, give us a verified phenomenon to consider whereby God is the only possible explantion. Take your time.Gravity? The beginning of the universe? Animal migration? Maybe this is a stupid question, but how is one supposed to tell the difference between phenomenons that cannot be explained and phenomenons that have not been explained? Wouldn't all the "cannots" look like "have not beens"?
Planetary movement was once incomprehensible to early astronomers. They attributed their wandering nature to that of the will of some supreme being. The actual explanation has since been found, and god is nowhere to be found in this explanation.
As the understanding we gain through science increases, supernatural attributions decrease. Even if we don't fully understand every little detail about gravity or the beginning of the universe, there is no need to say that God fills in our gaps in knowledge. If history has proven anything, those gaps are getting tighter and tighter, squeezing god out from every one. Even if our understanding can't close a gap, that does not give us ample justification for putting god there, as he never belonged in the other gaps either.
