No. I never claimed that guns weren't designed to kill people; (they clearly were). I stated that guns (in and of themselves) don't kill people; and I alluded to the reality that a crazy person will kill with any tool they can make into a weapon. I was illuminating the fact that what someone uses as a weapon need not be designed as a weapon to be used as one.
