Therefore, you believe that quantum fluctuations may or may not desire burnt pigeons in exchange for cleansing women's blood? None of this sounds absurd to you?

Only one sacrifice was ultimately needed in the end, the sacrifice of Christ himself on the cross. The lamb without blemish and all that business. And through this selfless act you will have your salvation of course. The other religions say "do!" and Christs said "done!" that the power of Gods saving grace there. You don't get this from Neptune he just lived in the sea and pleased himself, caused the odd storm, released the Kracken.
