I don't see anything wrong. "If that makes me ignorant, hateful and a bigot, then so be it."
Well, then so be it. They are ignorant of christian doctrine, yet they call themselves christian still. They may or may not be hateful, but certainly a lot of self-proclaimed christians hate gays. They are bigots for filling the last two clauses. That image works for me.
