I Trolled the members of my Facebook Page
This is a flying visit; I just thought that some of you would appreciate this.

One of our admins was posting a lot of anti-christian memes, which was getting our christian members all bent out of shape. I don't typically post that sort of stuff, as it's primarily an art and social justice page. Plus, the arguments that ensue are old and don't achieve anything. Anyway, he was taking a lot of flack, mostly from christians, telling him that the bible was chock full of examples of how great, loving, merciful and kind their god is. The cherry picking was really pissing me off, so I posted this as a status:

Quote:I've just received news via a very reliable anon source that a major government, endorsed by its people, is planning to cause a huge flood that will result in the deaths of thousands, if not millions of people. We're talking about men, women, children and anything living that gets in the way.

My source won't reveal who the government is, however, they have confirmed that this particular government is usually loving, merciful and forgiving of their enemies. Apparently this government acts very inconsistently; almost as though there are a number of different leaders, portrayed as the same person.

I asked my source why the government isn't just targeting their enemies but the innocents as well, and they reported that the government knows that these innocents will eventually turn on them too. This is also the reason that my source gives for the people excusing this genocide. Not everyone will perish, however, as the government has favored a few people and forewarned them of the impending attack.

Isn't that one of the most horrible things you have ever heard?

I had to post shortly after that it wasn't real, as a lot of people were taking it seriously. We lost a few members when I revealed that it was a fabrication too, but I think I got the point across.

They took it seriously?

It's almost like they don't read their fucking holy book or something...

I used to work with a woman that asked me every day to read the horoscope as published in a newspaper.
I didn't want to insult her and it was amusing at first, so I never objected.
One day, I was having a bad mood, I told her camly...

'you will pass away this week'

She freaked out and started crying and never dared to ask me again. Yes, I know I am an asshole.

Well if someone genuinely believes that a bunch of rocks floating in outer space have some effect on them just because of the month they were born in, then they deserve to get trolololol'd.

Hahahahaha. Wouldn't that be the greatest thing if that's what the horoscope actually said. Now it's my lifetime ambition to write horoscopes, do it seriously for a year and then slip that into a newspaper.

Thanks. Wasn't it, just? I toyed with the idea of making it clear at the end, but decided to just go with it. The interesting thing is, if you look at some of the comments on the page, there are people practically asking for a series. Is there a new career possibility for me here, perhaps? Tongue

Nothing happening on the oven front right now. We're (hopefully) going in for an induction tomorrow. I'll let you know.

PS: Sort the BJE site out. -_-

Well, if anyone needs something to do with his life . . . Tongue

Do let me know and tell you know I'm rooting for her.

I'm fracking working on it, bro. Busy making up for the heaps of money I spent on Christmas.
