You must be more daft than I thought.
Here we go again, chile.. Do pay attention this time
The Bible is the direct word of god per your own brethren's words here.
Unless you don't believe god is perfect, then his word is perfect as well and that means that the bible is unerring because of the nature of god. (Which, incidentally, has been proven to be in error on this forum more times than I can count.)
Wow, you really aren't that bright, huh? If "proof" constituted linking to CARM, then you'd believe in God, right?
I suppose you ignored my rebuttal to CARM's opening line, I also suppose the guys from CARM missed it too.
Quote:Your opening line from doucebag anonymous wrote:
"Thus says the Lord" occurs over 400 times in the Old Testament.
Really? What do you think happens to the unerring aspect when one of those 400 times says this:
"19.Ezekiel 22:28
And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken."
Or better yet, why don't I refute the claim you made in the quote above and refute your bf's BS at the same time.
"The Bible is the direct word of god per your own brethren's words "
1 Corinthians 7:12-16
New International Version (NIV)
12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
Verse 12 there is proof against your "direct word of God" claim.

If anything fishy, the vagueness of my assertion needs clarified, and your claim that I don't have anything to back up my claim that those who don't follow the bible will go to hell is yet again: refuted.
