I love how every time the Republicans go down in flames (the Bush II years, McCain's/Romney's ass-kickings), the immediate cry is, "Oh, forget about it; that's the past," even as they ritually intone Saint Reagan every chance they get. <SNIP>
Since CC was responding to me, I feel compelled to point something out: this is one person who does not invoke Reagan at all. As I said, the past is the past, and while we can learn from the past, I don't want to relive it. I couldn't give two fucks about Reagan because I was 8 years old when he left office. All I care about is what happens today and tomorrow.
Btw, I didn't vote for Mitt or Obama, I marked the 'X' for Gary Johnson.
