Which is bad enough the Pope is just a man like us at the end of the day and can't pretend to talk for God or make pronouncements on Gods behalf. The prophets were elected by God and the Pope is elected by other humans.

I'm only CoE by geographic coincidence I would prefer it if there weren't any denominations, sects, cults, monarchs or Popes or anything else like that. It should all just be one united faith in the one God through Christ. All these different infighting factions just serve to weaken the faith as a whole certainly in this day and age when it's up against some hard competition from other religions like Islam and what you could call secular fundamentalism.
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.
