Look, Kemotx, I agree that being harsh with people kind of sucks. But with Christians, Atheists have to repeat again and again the points they are trying to make, because we get frustrating answers like "prove it" and "I know my faith is true so I don't have to believe that" or more than anything else "God did it."
It's frustrating, and eats away at our patience and determination. I was determined to not be a vulgar person when I joined this site, but as time went on, I got sick of the Christian unwillingness to take ANYTHING I said into consideration. When I could point out their flaws irrefutably, they just ignored me.
Maybe the Christians don't call us bad names or insult our personalities as much, but they are no less rude than you claim we atheists are, because they won't show any willingness to consider that "hey, maybe that atheist has a point."
I know I am sick of screaming into deaf ears, but when someone won't listen, what do you do? You talk louder.
