You say you're not here to brag about how kind you are. One good way to show that is to not brag about how kind you are. Especially given how unkind you're being to Rationalman who genuinely holds the belief that trying to control how people express themselves is much ruder than using words some people consider 'bad'.
Getting hung up on the words people use to express themselves prevents you from listening to what they're really saying. That's on you, not them.
