You have no right to tell this person what s/he can and can't (not) believe.
I'm trying to help him out a bit by suggesting that there is a moderate side of Islam to consider before joining your motley crew. It doesn't seem like he's aware of it.

Muslims believe in the same God so that's fine of course. I don't think Mohammed was genuine prophet but that's my opinion.
