Don't be a gullible moron, pure and simple. Many of us were once gullible morons because we were environmentally pressured into leaving reason at the door. We just realized that if what was being pushed was real and not a massive scam, then it could easily hold up to basic reasonable scrutiny. The surprising thing is that religion can't stand up to scrutiny without desperate con men making wild excuses one after another to cover up the holes. These con men, also known as theistic apologists, are easily observed here to be totally dishonest, as they consciously avoid and ignore the gaping holes in their logic during discussions on this board but run like the wind on known false information. They never hesitate to use propagandic tricks to mislead in their direction and never admit to any incongruities.
