Yes, the brain is an amazing instrument with the capacity to assemble all sorts of chemical and physiological constructs. I used to 'know' god too - now i know better. Like you, I also 'know' things which I cannot prove to others - they're called constructs, and they can be observed, challenged, refuted, and amended to agree with other, more appropriate models for social interaction within humanity as a culture. You and I share one construct; we each 'believe' that we are headed to a destination. Your destination is 'construct'ed as heaven or hell; mine is a dirt blanket and a stone pillow.
