Why can't non-christians talk with god?

I must admit, sometimes I talk to god.... bad habits, you know. Particularly frustrating times (as opposed to moderately frustrating times) I'll say God Damnit!!! Not so much Jesus Christ... I've always like to use that one satirically, like 'Cheese and Rice, man, cheese and rice'. Perhaps you could also say I do it when I say son of a bitch (no she di'nt). Holy hell, stuff like that. So mostly I refer to 'god' when I curse for no other reason except that I feel like they express whatever it is I want to but can't find the right word for at that particular moment. But I also appreciate the whole 'sticks and stones' thing in the perspective of bad words. Damn, Bastard, fuck fuck fuckity fuck this shit cunt douchebag.... those are descriptive words, and until they're used in a manner or attempt to harm, they're only words.

So I guess in the end I don't really talk to god, I just shout or say expletives that include reference to certain religious beings.
