But it is asymmetric rules of engagement if atheists can incite worry in the hearts of people by saying theres no afterlife, no karma, no reward, and yet we are not allowed to suggest there IS an afterlife "consequence".

Hello, new mod here! The issue isn't worry, as I understand it, it's threat. If our suggestions that there's no afterlife worry you... well, I'd suggest getting a thicker skin, but considering those are kind of part and parcel of being an atheist, I'm wondering what views you were expecting to hear, on the Atheist forums?

Meanwhile, eternal punishment classifies as a threat, and it kinda puts a damper on any future conversation. If any atheist threatens you in a similar manner, feel free to report it to us. Mind you, if I'm wrong on any of this, I fully expect the other mods to correct the newbie.
