Look, the book has authors, right? And those authors would have to have had a specific meaning in mind when they wrote the words; there is actually only one correct answer when it comes to these interpretations, especially here in a case where the writers had special revelation from god, or what have you.
Saying that a word or phrase should be interpreted this way and not the other implies that you have a reason for saying so... or that you're stirring shit. Which is it?
