Apparently you haven't, because if you did, you would know that a white flower and a purple flower cross-breeding does not create a light-purple flower. It can create either one or the other. Same with humans. Interracial couples of broad color variation do not necessarily lead to more or less brown, black, or white skin. They can be either/or.
If you can bring up an article to cite this claim, I would be happy to look at it.
