The "God doesn't intervene because of free will" is just an ad hoc response to the fact that as the overall gullibility of the human race declines, so do the so-called miracles. We are able to understand a lot about our world and critically examine supernatural claims, so Christians are forced to retreat into a free will defense to salvage their beliefs. But as it has been pointed out, the bible clearly shows that god has no problem intervening, leaving the Christian with a heaping pile of cognitive dissonance.
And fuck anyone that says we've lost god's blessings due to removing him from school and government. Hopefully, such superstitious nonsense will disappear when these old-timers start dying off.
