"Son of God" movie due out in 2014

Now Hollywood is replaying TV on the big screen? They're really reaching at this point. In addition to this there's also a Noah and Exodus movie coming out that year. Guess who's playing Noah? Russell Crowe. Noah's daughter? Emma Watson. Moses? Christian Bale... Queen Tuya? Sigourney Weaver.

Actually, I might see those. Because something tells me they're not going to be true to the source material at all.

Of course, the Source Material can be read in five minutes, so you pretty much have to make up your own stuff.

Also, I know I want to see it. Because you know who's directing it? The same guy who directed Pi, Requiem For a Dream, The Wrestler, and Black Swan, Darren Aronofsky.

That said, the last I've heard, Darren's been battling with Paramount over the integrity of the project, and, especially given that his last Sci-Fi epic The Fountain, tanked, I don't have too much hope for this project.
