I hate the word "respect", that merely means "don't bruise my ego". People should be valued and their human rights to make whatever claims they want SHOULD be valued. But do not ask me to be kind to the likes of people who think women and girls are property. Do not ask me to shut up when someone makes stupid claims with no evidence.
Credit to a claim comes only after it is a position is proven to be worthy of given credit.
I only agree with not physically harming other humans. I only agree with their rights to believe what they want. But I owe them nothing as far as taboos in speaking up if I think they are full of shit.
Quote:Don't hurt innocent people
Right, so how does it help humanity to put naked assertions into the brains of kids who are incapable of making that decision for themselves?
Quote:Be humble
Right, so why is it ok for religious people to pretend they are the center of the universe?
Quote:Don't lie
You mean like selling the lie that a woman magically popped out of a man's rib?
This tripe you typed is well intended, but wrong headed. "Getting along" with others different than you should not allow them to avoid criticism.
Credit is earned not given.
