If he'd been involved in any form of exchange with the members, rather than repeatedly reiterating his point over and over, he could have. In essence, communicating his answers would have been all that was required.
Quote:Which was my point. By having rules like this you can create a safe place by regulating/censoring unpopular speech. Which is no different than what the people at CF have done. The only difference is they have outlined what they censor in great detail, and here one rule is made to fit any number of topics that you all do not want to deal with.
Which is just factually incorrect: Grace wasn't banned for content, but for manner. This isn't a matter of unpopular speech, easily evidenced by the fact that guys like you, and GC, and every other christian on this site, can talk about your god as much as you want, just so long as you actually engage with the people around you. That's a far cry from censoring any speech that disagrees with the viewpoint the mods have.
Quote:I have not spun anything. I have been very clear that both websites do the same thing, just on different subjects.
Can you provide a single example of someone being banned here, merely for the content of the opinion they expressed, where that content was not an outright threat?
It makes no difference whether you bann for content or manner, your still censoring people in the same way cf or af.com censors people. You have created an environment where only certain people with certain topics or formats can be discussed what is on their mind. Again not a good or bad thing it is just a nessary evil for their to be structure and any type of order. The point is no matter which side of The discussion you are on, there needs to be rules order and consenquence inorder for anything constructive to happen in either one of these forums.
