It must be our fault: we're taking it out of context, and haven't interpreted it to mean the exact opposite of the words that are there. What heathens we are.

Hey, does anyone else find it an amazing coincidence that the only verses that need interpretation are the ones that, when taken straight, would paint god and christianity in a bad light?
