So oligarchy and direct power over the infrastructure of this oligarchy (dictatorship) DOESNT????? exist under capitalism?

Right now corporations have a lot of power to make economic decisions that affect whole nations, at what point was there an election to give these people this power over us? Oh wait, there never was one because capitalism is a dictatorship.
