1) I don't agree. If anything, it opens Christians up to other beliefs (such as myself). I didn't become an EC until after my realization of Calvinism.
2) I highly disagree. There isn't any constraint on God's freedom. Since He's omniscient, He's already made the choice of His elect. That's not to say that He couldn't change His choice, but since changing a choice while being omniscient is a paradox, it simply cannot exist. It's the GRP all over again.
