I'm sorry but the BIBLE is written by man, no god inspired this heap... Yes there is alot of good things in the bible but if you pulled out all the good stuff and left the crap out you could prob shrink it to a 25 page easy reader with pics.

IF there was a god he would have to be HIGHLY intellegent and being highly intelligent he would not have to solve all his problems or correct his problem children with death and distruction. Resorting to violence shows LOW intellegence. Im no where neer godly and I can come up with better solutions.

For example: 2kings 2 23-24 ... How that would have been written IF I were god.

From there Elisha went up to Bethel, As he was walking along the road, some men with swords and sheilds came out of the town and jeered at him and said " GO UP BALD HEAD, GO UP BALD HEAD" And Elisha called down a curse in the name of the lord. But the lord being a loving god rasied up 2 dirt twisters from the ground and 3 well placed bolts of lightning between Elisha and the troops. The men dropped there weapons and repented. And the lord gained 42 dedicated deciples that helped to spread his word.

But the original text where little children pose so much threat that god had to strike them down and not only strike them down, but he TERRORIZED them while he did it not to mention the life long torment for the parents... This dose not reflect a godly intelligence but more like a primitive man's thinking. Humm who wrote this book ..OH YEA, man. and primitive at that.. Where High tech ment a stick with a bronze point and a sheild.
