Wow more mental acrobatics to justify the lack of morality in the bible.... One of the reasons I like 2kings 2 23-25 is that they are stand alone passages. As far as I have seen they are not mentioned or refered to anywhere else in the bible. For example Tom is driving down the street and a homeless guy flips him off. So Tom gets out of his car beats him to a pulp and drives off with out further thought of the incedent. Now tom may have never seen this guy before and may never see him again, but what it dose do is speek volumes on Toms true nature. The context would not change in the slightest if directly afterwards Tom went to a strip club or to a church at wich he was the preacher.
