No I don't believe adam and eve was a literal count. My point was that humanity continues to repeat the same decision daily in modern times. No no one should be punished for "their father's mistakes" or inherited sin. You don't go to hell (wth that is) for what you don't do, but for what you do. I was referencing the father to one that allows his kids the freedom they seek at 18-20 to to learn on their own.
