The probability for the time to show 11:11 is very high. I can calculate it here. Assuming a normal person looks at the time about 20x and the 11:11 shows twice in a 12 hour space:
12 x 60 = 720
Probability of the time NOT to be 11:11 when you look at it:
1 - 2/720 = 0.0027778 = 0.997222
Probability of the time NOT to be 11:11 after looking at it 20x:
0.997222^20 = 0.9458
Probability for the time never to show 11:11 at least once after a week:
0.997222^(7*20) = 0.67 or 33% probability to display 11:11 at least once
Probability for the time never to show 11:11 at least once after a month:
0.997222^(4*7*20) = 0.21 (unlikely) or 79% probability to display 11:11
Probability for the time to show 11:11 at least once, 4 weeks in a row, once every week:
0.33^4 = 1.1% (1% is far from impossible lol)
Probability for the time to show 11:11 at least once, 4 weeks in a row, in a year period:
1-0.989^12 = 12.4%
And this is assuming you only look at the time 20x in 12 hours, some people check it 100x+ lol
Glad to solve the 11:11 mystery xD
