Personally, I hope he pushes the GOP back into reasonableness, at least as far as economic policy goes.

Honestly, with the teabaggers basically running the GOP these days, I doubt that will ever happen. Pushing the party away from the extreme right fringe is liberalism to these people, and any moderate Repubs are simply RINO's. I mean, fuck, they refuse to change their policies even though they know that they can't win on the straight, rich, white guy vote.
