You move king's pawn up one space, then queen in front of the bishop's pawn, bishop to c4 (if white), then queen to take the enemy bishop's pawn. The queen is guarded and safe, and the king has nowhere to go unless the queen's pawn was moved or something like that.
That's called fool's mate. There are COUNTLESS openings; it's one of the most studied aspects of chess.
