Okay, so all of my roommates, and my boyfriend, believe in all these government conspiracy theories, saying how the government is out to get all of America. There's gonna be concentration camps called "Fema Camps" (not sure if I'm spelling that right), they put flouride in the water and mercury in our vaccines to dumb down the population to control us, they have "big brother" watching us all the time...and on and on and on.
My boyfriend goes a step further and says that the people with the most power are actually aliens called "reptillians".
Oh geez....
So, what the hell do I say to these people? I've already had the conversation with my boyfriend about how evolution isn't "just a theory" (common misconception, damnit!!! Scientific theory = fact that has been proven over and over and over again, but is still open to be "proven wrong"). It's frustrating, because I know it's bullshit, but I don't have any counter arguments.

Firstly, if you want to get into conspiracy theories, I go deep. Not psycho mystical deep but definitely what some would call paranoid.
The validity of his claims are immediately countered by the fact he believes in reptillians. Reptillians are actually part of a conspiracy to make people that can debunk and see past the mists of mass programing look like morons so no one will believe them.
Try and tell him that and see if it works. Let me know his response, if you don't mind.
We were texting as I read this, so I threw in the Reptillian bit....annnnd

He said: "What???"
I explained to him that the reptillians were an invention of skeptics to make those that believe in mass programming to look like idiots (I soothed him saying, "No, you're not an idiot," >.>). Please correct me if I'm wrong.
To this he responded (verbatim), "I think there it to much evidence for and agains alot of shit. That's y ppl keep arguing over the same shit."
His spelling errors make me cringe, as does his stupidity.
