What hardships do BDSM people really face? What kind of rights are denies to them? What kind of legislation or social activism could really help them, especially in those movements?
Based on what I know now, I don't think educating people on BDSM would be a bad thing at all, but I can't imagine such a movement being as big as the gay rights movement or womens' lib since it doesn't look like the issues coming up aren't going to be as significant as employment discrimniation, housing discrimination, sexual harassment and the right to marry.
