That's nature. How do you know they are really good? Maybe what you perceive as good is really very bad. Can bad things produce good things? From a wider perspective, what's good and bad?

Because I'm afraid of getting caught. Because I reason that doing nice stuff is more beneficial to myself ultimately. That's what I get from exploring my faith as well as life experience. In my mind the fear you speak of is guilt from knowingly doing what you know inside is actually destructive to yourself.
