I never denied that. My point was about your apparent denial that the Christian church has a long history of denying scientific enquiry, with the notable examples of the trial of Galileo over the correct view that the Earth wasn't the centre of the solar system, let alone the centre of the universe. Other examples include the obvious one concerning Evolution, and the fact that over 50% of Americans do not accept any form of Evolution.
