Actually, speaking as the originator of that particular divergence, I'd prefer it if we could keep Elisha out of the slavery thread. I really only brought it up as a rebuttal to a particular claim about the content of our discussions on the forum, and I think that getting into an actual conversation about it there would just be a red herring to divert from the real discussion.
Can we keep slavery in the slavery thread, and bear murder in the bear murder thread?
The only problem being no one is addressing it in this thread. I'm happy with the explanation there, that this is Elisha doing wrong by cursing the boys. Let the naval gazing commence.

It's my new favourite too.
I started a naming convention with my kids adding 'bob' to the end of their names. My mum trumped me by calling me baldybob. My wife recently remembered and told my kids.
