He wasn't referring to Jesus as being a zombie, he was referring to "the many holy men' that rose from their tombs and wondered around Jerusalem, according to Matt 27:52-53.
Supposedly they appeared to many in Jerusalem.
Yet not a single writer makes note of many dead people walking around Jerusalem. Curious that...
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
