Gay women are useless to them because they're not pumping out babies and being a man's "helper" like the bible tells them to be.

There are plenty of straight women who feel that way too - it makes some of them feel good that they 'excel' at that shit, and any man who proves good at it must also be gay because no straight guy could possibly be good at the things men are supposed to be good at AND homemaking. Why...that would imply that those women who are homemakers might also be able to be good at business or other jobs and that requires work!

Stuff like this merely points to an extreme threat to self-worth and self-esteem.
