You do not need christianity or belief in a god, to know that that is the right way to live. It's common sense.
Then live that way and be charitable in understanding that people are not always going to see things the way you do. Love the Christian the same way you love the atheist or the Muslim or the Hindu. Respect them and honor them as fellow human beings. Yoy may disagree with their beliefs and that is fine. But love them.

Regardless of one's beliefs, you should love them. You may disagree with the doctrine, that is fine. But you should still respect them and honor them as fellow human beings. As much as is in your power you are to live at peace with all men. We all know this is the right way to live. If we know it and fail to do it, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
